For this activity, we learned about VFX. We were given knowledge about the programs or software that can be used to edit said VFX. We were also taught on how to do it and although we were not able to physically edit, the fact that we see how it is done, it is enough for us to understand. The speaker also taught us the technicalities, the terms, the purpose of the tools that is in the program. As they were speaking, it made me realize how a second-long effects in the final product can take hours in front of the screen. With that, it made me appreciate them more, and the films that have them. It also made me wonder how long does an Avenger movie takes to make knowing how much visual effects they used especially in fight scenes. Overall, the seminar surely accomplished its objectives and served its purpose.
